What we do, we do sustainably. And we really go the extra mile. Since 2022, we have been working exclusively with organic pesticides. So, our lilies are not just beautiful — they’re better for the planet too.

Working with
nature

Nature gives us the most beautiful lilies. We are happy to give something back. That is why we work together with nature as much as possible to grow our lilies. In other words: we let beneficial bugs protect our crops instead of using chemicals. Smart insects solve problems before we even spot them — with no harm to flowers, the environment, or people.

This is how we
grow greener

If we do it, we do it right — and green. It could have been our motto. Here’s how we grow sustainably and reduce our environmental impact:

Organic crop protection

Since 2022, we’ve used only organic pest control methods. We hardly need chemicals anymore. Instead, we fight harmful insects with beneficial ones — natural protection! That puts us ahead of many growers in sustainability.

Closed water system

We use a fully closed water system, which means all water is reused within our company. This means that no wastewater is lost. In this way, we use the precious resource that is water efficiently.

Mapping our carbon footprint

We also take our responsibility seriously when it comes to climate impact. We are actively working to gain insight into our CO₂ emissions. The goal? To take targeted measures based on data to further reduce our footprint.

Certifications

At Alland Lilies, quality, safety, and sustainability are paramount. We are therefore proud of our Global G.A.P. and MPS certifications. These certificates confirm that we work in a responsible and environmentally friendly manner.

Global G.A.P. Certification

Our greenhouse meets the highest international standards in terms of traceability and good agricultural practices. This not only guarantees that our products are of the highest quality, but also that we grow them in a safe and sustainable manner.

MPS Certification

Our MPS certification shows that we grow our lilies with care for people and the planet. We use water, energy, and pest control responsibly to ensure our production is as sustainable as possible.
